Meet the Supervisors

Karen A. Hartzog, CBTO, Development Services Coordinator
Mrs. Hartzog joined the City of Tarpon Springs in January 1996 as a temporary employee in the City Clerk’s Office. In March 1996, she was permanently hired as a clerk in the Building Department. Over the years she worked up through the ranks in Development Services to her current position, for which she has served since October 2008. Mrs. Hartzog is a certified permit technician and has achieved the designation of Certified Business Tax Official.


Anthony Mastracchio, Supervisor of Inspections
Mr. Mastracchio joined the City of Tarpon Springs as Supervisor of Inspections in August 2005. Before joining the City he worked for his family's contracting company in Connecticut, served as Inspections Supervisor for the City of Pinellas Park and as a Plans Examiner for the City of Clearwater. Mr. Mastracchio is a State certified multi-disciplined inspector and plans examiner.


Renea Vincent, AICP, Planning & Zoning Director
Ms. Vincent joined the City of Tarpon Springs as Director of Planning and Zoning in July 2002. She previously served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, held urban planning positions with the City of Peoria, Illinois and served as County Administrator in Craig County, Virginia. Ms. Vincent earned a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.
