Management of Information Systems

MIS is committed to serving the business operations of the City by providing enterprise-wide integrated system solutions and high-quality customer service to ensure the efficient utilization of technology resources and investments.

MIS is responsible for delivering quality services in the areas of systems support, hardware and software help desk support, network operations, telecommunications and business systems analysis. IT provides customer service for all of the City's user departments. Currently, there are approximately 135 desktop computers, 31 servers, and over 240 individual computer user accounts located at 11 locations throughout the City. There are currently more than 40 major business systems and custom software applications administered and supported by MIS staff. In the telecommunications area there are 130 desktop telephones.
