MARK G. LECOURIS

Mark G. LeCouris was appointed Interim City Manager on April 29, 2008 and was appointed as City Manager in February 2009. Mr. LeCouris served as Chief of Police of the City of Tarpon Springs from 1993 until his appointment as City Manager. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida and graduated from the Florida Command Officers Development Program at the Southern Police Institute. Mr. LeCouris has also served as the Acting Administrative Services Director since 1999. In this capacity, he proves guidance to the Cultural and Civic Services Department, Finance Department and Human Resources Department.
