The Public Services Department is responsible for a diverse range of functions related to a variety of public services, protection of public health, and protection of the environment. We take tremendous pride in serving our customers and the care and operation of our facilities, including Cycadia Cemetery, the Community Center and Gymnasium, the Craig Park Recreation Center, and our Golf Course.

Vital infrastructure and utility functions under our care include the public drinking water supply, wastewater treatment, reclaimed water, and stormwater systems. These systems require around-the-clock operation and reliable compliance with strict environmental and/or health regulations. We achieve all of this through our dedicated staff, who understands the important responsibilities of our organization to serve the public and to protect the environment.

Specifically, the Public Services Department provides for the protection and enhancement of the quality of life for the citizens of the City of Tarpon Springs through the services of the following Divisions:
