Overview:

The City of Tarpon Springs strives to maintain satisfaction with water and sewer services. We also make every effort to provide prompt service to address your concerns and/or complaints related to the City sewer or water system. Water or sewer service problems on private property are the responsibility of the property owner and should be resolved by the property owner through a licensed plumber.

City service includes response to water breaks, meter leaks, clogged sewers, sewer line breaks, water/sewer taps, reclaimed taps/repairs, utility locates and fire hydrant repairs/replacement/maintenance.

We use special equipment such as the vacon truck and closed circuit television truck to identify and repair problems with City sewer systems.

Water Service:

If you wish to connect to City water please contact the Engineering Department at (727) 942-5608 to determine if service is available in your area, and the cost for connection.

For water quality concerns, please contact Water Quality at (727) 937-2557.

For low water pressure concerns, contact Water Distribution at (727) 942-5606.

If the problem is determined to be part of the property owner's system (post-meter), the property owner should contact a licensed plumber to correct the problem.

If the problem is part of the City system, the City will investigate the problem to find a solution including checking the water meter; checking the service tap and any valves in the area.
