Penny for Pinellas Renewal

The Penny for Pinellas is a 1% sales tax that was initiated in 1990.  The Penny was renewed in 2000 and 2010.  Pinellas County voters will be asked to vote on November 7, 2017 for renewal of the Penny for 2020-2030. The Peny is a primary funding source for governmental capital projects for both the County and all of the Municipalities in the Coutny, including the City of Tarpon Springs.  It funds our long term investments, such as buildings, roads, parks and recreational facilities and public safety equipment.
