Adult & Youth Athletics

Men’s Softball & Co-ed Softball

FallLeague:  Men’s league plays Mondays and begins in September 2017;

limited to 12 teams playing a 14 game regular season with a post season

tournament. Co-ed league plays on Fridays and begins when 4 teams are

registered.

Adult Basketball - The league will begin in August and is limited to eight

teams who play a 10-14 game regular season with a post-season tournament.

Co-ed Volleyball - The league plays on Monday nights. Interested teams and

players can stop by the gym or call the Recreation office for more

Youth Flag Football - Citizens Alliance for Progress and Tarpon Springs

Recreation Division together run a Flag Football Tournament starting in April

of each year. This program is for youths between 5yrs old to 13yrs old.  Teens

between 14yrs old and 17yrs old may participate as assistant coaches.

Location: Dorsett Park

Family Tennis - Bring your kids and play some tennis for fun, fitness and the

opportunity to meet new friends, equipment available.

Location: Craig Park Tennis Courts Saturdays, 9am-noon

Pickleball -  Three courts are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Equipment is provided.

Location: Tarpon Springs Community Center Fee: $2 per person recreation card holder/$3 non recreation card holder COMPETITIVE: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11am - 2pm SOCIAL: Wednesdays 8am - 2pm

Table Tennis - Seven tables are available for open play and tournaments, all

equipment is provided.

Location: Tarpon Springs Community Center Fee: $1.50 per person with card/ $2.50 per person without card Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:30am-11:30am

Futsal - In cooperation with Tarpon Futbol Club, we offer Futsal in the

Gymnasium. The instructor is on-hand to teach the core elements of the only

indoor form of soccer endorsed by FIFA.

Instructor: Rashawn Lamar Location: Tarpon Springs Community Center Fee: $62.50/4 weeks Saturdays 8 - 10am Registration: Tarpon Futsol Club

Paddle Sports - Everything you need to know to get started in Stand Up

Paddle boarding (SUP). Get one on one training from our certified instructor.

No experience is required but participants must be able to swim. All

equipment is provided.

Instructor: Karl Vogel Location: Craig Park Boat Ramp Fee: $25 / day lessons  $50  for 3-day rental First and Third Saturdays 9:45am Call 727-942-5628 to be placed on the interest list.

Ju Jitsu - This class involves the complete Japanese system of self-defense,

utilizing both mind and body, while building self-confidence, esteem and

coordination.

Instructor: Phil Wright Fee: $50 monthly Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm Craig Park Recreation Center

North Pinellas Youth Track

Focusing on self-improvement and challenge with the participating cities of Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Largo Palm Harbor & Pinellas Park. Location:  Practices – TBA    Meets – at each participating city Fee:  $25 w/card, $30 w/o card, ages 3-15 Practices:  Wednesdays, February-May, 6-7pm     Meets:  1st Wednesday, February-May

Just Dance Academy

Tarpon Springs Recreation would like to welcome aboard Just Dance Academy.  Just Dance offers a variety of dance classes including hip hop, ballet, tumbling and much more. Just Dance Academy practices Tuesday through Sunday at the Community Center Class fees vary depending on the class.  Please click link here for class schedule

Graffiti Yoga-An awesome yoga class with an attitude!
