2018 SUNSET BEACH CONCERT SERIES - Sponsored by Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs and

Florida Hospital North Pinellas

Concerts are on the first Thursday of the month (February through November) and start at 7pm. Bonfires, weather permitting, at the February, March, October and November concerts.  Concessions are available for purchase. Alcohol and pets are prohibited.  Parking is limited onsite, so a courtesy shuttle will deliver concert goers to and from the beach and Tarpon Springs High School. FREE!! September 6th: Time Bandits October 4th: SolShine November 1st: Rhythm Express **In case of inclement weather, concert may be rescheduled to the following week. Please check our Facebook page or call the Tarpon Springs Community Center for updates. **Dates and lineup are subject to change

BACK TO SCHOOL SPLASH

Please join us for a celebration of going back to school. We will have food, water slides, music and fun!

BEACH CLEANUP

The City of Tarpon Springs is teaming up with Keep Pinellas Beautiful to clean up Sunset Beach. Please wear closed toed

shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Gloves and trash bags are provided.

Day & Time: Saturday, September 29th, from 9am-11am

ZOMBIE RUN

Beware of the zombies! Join us for a 5K run through the North Anclote River Nature Park. We will need volunteers to be

zombies. Please contact us if you are interested.

Location: North Anclote Nature Park

Day & Time: Saturday, October 6th at 9am

Fee:  $20 per participant in advance, $25 day of registration  

TRUNK OR TREAT HALLOWEEN BASH

Join us for a safe alternative to trick or treating. The Recreation Center will have games, activities, bounce houses, food and more. The parking lot will be set up for trunk or treat. Children may go from trunk to trunk to get Halloween treats. There will be a costume contest so please be sure to dress up! Concessions will be available.

HOLIDAY SAFETY FESTIVAL

Join The city of Tarpon Springs and Lowes Home Improvement for a fun safety festival at Lowes of Tarpon Springs. There will

be various safety tips around the parking lot and inside the store. The Recreation Center will have games, activities, bounce

houses, food and more. The parking lot will be set up for touch a truck. There will be a costume parade so please be sure to

dress up! Concessions will be available.

SNOW PLACE LIKE TARPON SPRINGS

The biggest Christmas event in north Pinellas returns to beautiful, historic downtown Tarpon Springs. This FREE event gets

bigger and better every year! Snow Place features carriage rides, snow play area, visit with Santa, write and mail your letter

to Santa, children's Christmas activities, DJ and Christmas music. Performances by local performers.

Location: Downtown Tarpon Springs

Day & Time: Friday, December 7th from 5-10pm

TARPON SPRINGS BOAT PARADE

The 27th Annual Boat Parade will be held on Friday, December 2nd, following Snow Place Like Tarpon Springs. Vessels will

proceed down the Anclote River and into the bayous where Santa will give out treats to the children in Spring Bayou. There is

no charge to participate, but all vessels must be registered to enter. Registration forms may be obtained at the City Marina

and at the Recreation Division administrative office. Trophies will be awarded to the best decorated boats. Call Duffy at 942-

5628 for more details. Best viewing is from Craig Park/Spring Bayou. Boats enter Spring Bayou between 8:00pm and 8:15pm.

SANTA’S CALLING

Here’s your chance to have Santa Claus call your children at home. Applications will be available online (TSRDonline.com) or

at the recreation centers for Santa and his helpers to call between 6:00pm and 8:30pm on Tuesday, December 11th.

**Volunteers are needed to help Santa call the children. Contact Ashley Harter at 727-942-5628 or aharter@ctsfl.us
