Blues Brothers:  Enjoy a showing of the classic Blues Brothers on Saturday, May 19th, at Sunset Beach.  The gates open at 8pm and the movie starts at 9pm.  Entry costs $5, but you can get a concession discount by wearing your sunglasses to the concession trailer, and a chance to enter our Facebook contest.  The movie is rated R, so please leave the youngsters at home.

Out of School Bash:  Come to Sunset Beach for our annual Out of School Bash on Saturday, June 9th.  Registration starts at 5pm for kids entering 1st - 12th grades, for a variety of events, like the mini-triathlon, float races, volleyball, obstacle course and more.  There will be trivia with Mayor David Archie and a movie (Spider-Man) at dusk.  The Out of School Bash is FREE, with refreshments for purchase throughout the day.

Brooker Creek Preserve:  While the Preserve is not officially part of Tarpon Springs, this 8700 acre jewel is the largest natural area in Pinellas County, and well worth a visit.  It consists primarily of forested wetlands and pine flatwoods.  Bordered by dense urban development, the Preserve provides both a unique refuge for native flora and fauna as well as an opportunity for citizens to explore the natural beauty of wild Florida.  Click here to go to their event calendar.
