Commissioner DiDonato is a retired Chiropractor and had a private practice in Tarpon Springs for many years. He is a seasoned veteran in the political arena and served as a Commissioner from 1991 to 1994, and as Mayor from 1998 to 2004. After twenty years since last being in office, he was appointed as interim Commissioner to Seat Number 2 on February 20, 2024. He then was elected permanently to fill the unexpired term of that seat on August 20, 2024. Commissioner DiDonato is very active in the community and served as a former President of the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce, former Chairman and Board Member of the Tarpon Springs Boys & Girls Club and served on the Board of the Tarpon Springs Rotary Club. He is married, has two sons and has been described and known by many for his voice of reason and his calming influence.
