Suzanne Linton serves as the Director of Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer for the City of Tarpon Springs, Florida, where she leads citywide technology strategy, cybersecurity, and digital modernization for a full-service municipality. She is responsible for protecting and advancing the technology that powers our beautiful city, including critical public services, Police, Fire, Utilities, and Emergency Management, ensuring that the city’s infrastructure is resilient, secure, and ready for the future.
With more than twenty years of public sector technology leadership, Suzanne is known for turning complex modernization efforts into practical results, from complex cybersecurity hardening to cloud-based ERP and HR systems, to smarter, data-informed services for residents and staff.
Suzanne’s academic background reflects a deep and intentional investment in public service leadership. She holds a Master of Business Administration and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration, with a focus on governance, cybersecurity, and the modernization of government services. She is enrolled in the Florida State University Certified Public Manager program, further strengthening her expertise in leading complex public sector organizations. Her education also includes postgraduate studies in cybersecurity, finance, leadership, and IT management, and she is a Harvard alumna, having earned the Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business.
