Utility Billing

Starting Utility Services

Please email Utility Billing at ubcts@ctsfl.us or call 727-942-5609. We will need a copy of:

• The signed settlement statement or signed warranty deed from closing
• A Security Deposit form filled out and signed
• Copy of ID (driver’s License or signature notarized)
• Deposits paid

Stopping Utility Services

To stop utility services, please get in touch with Utility Billing at ubcts@ctsfl.us or call Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 727-942-5609.

Billing

If you have questions or concerns about your billing statement, please contact our office. 

All services are billed monthly and become delinquent 23 days after the bill date. Additional charges may be assessed for late payment, disconnection, and reconnection of service. A 10% late fee is assessed on unpaid balances not received by the due date printed on the bill.

Deposits are required for all services. Interest will accrue monthly on deposits and is posted as a credit to the account on the September bill. Deposits are held on the account until the account is terminated and then is applied to the final bill.

Payments

Utility payments are accepted by mail, in person, and electronically. We also have an overnight drop box located next to the drive-through window.

Reporting

The owner or resident should call the City’s Water Conveyance Department prior to calling a plumber to report a water outage, leak, or sewer backup. The City of Tarpon Springs cannot reimburse residents for plumbing bills when a plumber is called first. Our telephone number during normal business hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, is 727-937-2557.
