The following appointed boards and committees will meet with City staff and consultants to conduct the first of three workshops for the Comprehensive Plan Update.

- Parks and Recreation Advisory Board
- Planning and Zoning Board
- Public Art Committee
- Sustainability Committee
Work sessions are intended to provide opportunities for Board members to study issues, gather and analyze information and clarify questions. No votes are conducted during work sessions. These sessions are open to the public but are not the appropriate forum for public comment.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee consists of seven members appointed by the Board of Commissioners. The Director of Public Services and the Director of Public Works also serve as ex-officio members. The PRC is advisory to the City Commission and City staff to represent the recreational interests of the citizens of Tarpon Springs, provide oversight of the City park system and to offer solutions and ideas in all matters affecting recreational experiences that enhance residents’ quality of life.
