The Budget Advisory Committee consists of five regular members and two alternate members appointed by the Board of Commissioners for three year terms. The BAC meets as necessary, typically on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. Whenever possible, the Board of Commissioners appoints members who have demonstrated expertise, training, education or experience in finance, accounting, business or related fields.
The Budget Advisory Committee reviews and make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding the City’s annual budget and capital improvement program budget and perform such other duties and assignments as requested by the Board of Commissioners or the City Manager.
