Duke Energy’s contractor (Pike Electric) will be performing replacement and upgrades to the electrical infrastructure (poles, lines and transformers).
Please exercise caution in this area when workers are present. The road will not be completely closed – traffic will be maintained utilizing dedicated flaggers.
The City has been notified by Duke Energy that they are constructing a new electrical substation at the site of the Tarpon Springs Operations Center that is just to the west of Cycadia Cemetery. Demolition of the old facility is currently underway. There will be periodic lane closures and heavy equipment on Cemetery Road during the duration of demolition and construction.

Installation of a box culvert and associated infrastructure as part of the Grosse Avenue and Pent Street Stormwater Project

The Florida Department of Transportation is making improvements to Alternate US 10 from Oscar Hill Road to Dixie Highway. This project begins August 3, 2020 and will take approximately 160 calendar days.
The improvements consist of the construction of pedestrian features including sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter, milling and resurfacing, overbuild, drainage, signage, pavement markings, lighting, mid-block crossing and other incidental construction.
