The Technical Review Committee consists of City Staff members from a variety of technical fields including planning and zoning, project administration, utilities, fire, building, public works and law enforcement.  The Technical Review Committee reviews all applications for compliance with the code of ordinances, comprehensive plan and all applicable building codes.  This includes the review of site plans, subdivisions, conditional uses, amendments to the zoning map, amendments to the future land use map, variances, vacations of streets, plats or other properties, temporary uses and all other applications assigned by the City Manager.

The City has implemented a new electronic plan review process that allows applications to be submitted digitally through an online portal. This new application submission process is more efficient for routing plan review to departments simultaneously allowing for shorter review time periods.

Step 1:  Please visit the document library to download the correct application either under Planning and Zoning: “Permit Applications:” or Heritage Preservation: “Certificate of Approval Application”.

Step 2: Visit and submit the application with plans and other necessary documents.

Step 3: Submit payment via check or money order made payable to “City of Tarpon Springs” and mail it to Planning and Zoning, P. O. Box 5004, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34688.
